The Tourbillon is Blancpain's most traditional and signature watch. All Jewel Snobs are obsessed with watches and having a Blancpain cements your status as a true and knowledgeable collector. This very unique and special Tourbillon is the mother of all watches, set with 242 baguettes diamonds on the bracelet in white gold with 115 diamonds on the dial, this is a masterpiece of the watchmaking art at its very best. Its power reserve eliminates the necessity of daily winding and guarantees optimum precision due to the slower more regular detent of its barrel spring. Not sure if you should actually go deep sea scuba diving with this on but as a tribute to its craft and invention, this Tourbillon is water-resistant to 30-100 meters. Diamond bracelet, as seen, is $1,812,700, also available with a leather strap instead of the diamond bracelet for $1,342,700. I'm a big believer in the importance of splurging on a great watch. I've been sporting my Cartier Santos nearly everyday for the last 6 years and it goes with pretty much everything and anything. That said I also like to have fun and play with my accessories, so my eyes lit up when I came across the Timex 80 Collection. I couldn't help but want to get my hands on one of the fabulously vibrant watches! No they're not investment pieces (who could wear something this bright every day!), but they've got this dorky-chic quality to them that I absolutely love and Timex has a reputation for quality at affordable price points. Plus how can you not smile looking down at your wrist and seeing something so bright? What do you think about these Timex watches? Would you wear something so bright?
I have been trying to decide on a new watch for ages. My whim wants a cool white ceramic watch - it just looks so amazing on!! But my conservative practical side says I should hold out for a classic, like the Cartier Ballon I've been wanting for years now. Of course, it comes down to the price. Something like the Michele Watches Tahitian Ceramic Diamond Watch is immediately obtainable for $1995. It has 100 diamonds (well, the total weight is only .47 carats) and has a sapphire crystal, which is a must for the way I bang up my watches. It's also water resistant so I can wear it in the shower. But that's 2 grand I can save up towards something I will never need to replace. The Cartier Medium Ballon Bleu Steel Watch, with the large face and blue hands and that distinctive Cartier dial. It really doesn't make sense to get a throw away $2000 watch when my true love is only $2650 more. But then again, plunking down $4650 all at once is a hard thing to do. And that's why I still have not gotten a new watch, I just can't justify going either way.

This is the most amazing and distinct watch I have ever seen. Diane von Furstenberg's collaboration with H. Stern has produced some gorgeous pieces but this tops it all as the huge standout hit. The face is encased with an asymmetrical faceted sapphire crystal with diamond hour markers (only .05 carats in weight but a great way to add diamonds without feeling like you are being cheated with the small carats). The straps are triple loops of calf leather. You are getting Swiss movement for a fashion watch that will perform and let your style shine brightly and fabulously. Love love love!! I might exchange all my Christmas gifts to get this!! Or is that rude? At Bergdorf Goodman for $1500, comes in black or white.
Porcelain watches are the big trend these days but who wants to spend thousands on what could be a passing fad? To me a good watch should be classic, I don't see the point in buying a white Chanel for $5500. To have some fun, Micheal Kors has this horn watch that is almost cooler than a white porcelain. Instead of just pure function, this watch is like a bracelet. Stack it with other bangles for the ultimate look. At Net-a-Porter for $195.
Here are a few of the gorgeous pieces from Tiffany's new holiday collection.

The cocktail watch is inspired by the curves and inward stepping of a Venetian mirror frame and features a bezel with 98 round brilliant diamonds and a buckle with 23 diamonds in 18 karat white gold with a sleek black satin strap. I love delicate watches with just enough bling like this to make it double as a stunning piece of jewelry and a great timepiece. $12,600 at Tiffany & Co.

These are the latest additions to the key collection. I love the fairy tale nature of the entire key collection and these delicate and slightly smaller keys would look fantastic with their larger predecessors, or alone. From left is a diamond and black enamel frame key in 18k white gold, a diamond and blue enamel checkerboard key in 18k white gold and a diamond and blue and green enamel octagon key in 18k white gold. $2,250 each.

And finally, perhaps the piece de resistance, is this Victorian-inspired Bangle in black enamel with diamonds set in platinum. Available at Tiffany & Co. for $90,000.
Now who doesn't want a little blue box during the holidays?

This is one of the most stand out watch designs from Cartier in a very long time. I first noticed it in their ads when it launched this year but did not fall in love with it until I saw my friend Patsy at lunch sporting it like a rock star. The Ballon Bleu is the embodiment of the modern woman; with a large face that rivals that of traditional men's watches, the Ballon is for the woman who is not afraid to show her strength and kick some ass when she has to (just like Patsy, no one messes with her!).
It comes in three sizes in 18k white or pink gold, the case is set with round-cut diamonds and has 18k pink or white gold fluted crown set with a blue sapphire cabochon. The dial is silvered opaline, guilloche (curved like a balloon, thus the name) and lacquered with roman numerals and sword-shaped blue steel hands. It is also water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. Retail is $37,900 for the large size with diamonds, I prefer the medium for myself as I am petite but if you are of average height, the large size is totally the bomb! Forget the small size cuz the point of this watch is bad ass and how can you look the part with a tiny watch on your wrist? Call Nicole at Cartier for further details. 972-726-7670
