Rachel Leigh Pyramid Enamel Cuffs

user-pic6

Can one ever have too many cuffs? I think not (at least not judging by my jewelry arsenal!). I love the power that a cuff has when it comes to livening up an outfit. I'm a big fan of LWDs and LBDs so I often rely on my jewelry for pops of color. The Rachel Leigh Pyramid Enamel Cuffs ($132) are a versatile, easy-to-wear option. They're also just the right size to be worn either on their own or you could opt for two of them stacked since they're made in complementary colors. I'm particularly fond of the Tobacco and Honey cuffs on the right, which, besides going great with black and white, match up near-exactly to some Ports 1961 jackets and dresses I recently bought at Super Saturday.

Diorose Pearl & Enamel Rose Necklace

user-pic6

diorose_necklace.jpg

Camille Miceli, for her debut as Dior's costume jewelry designer, has got a hit on her hands. Miceli, a super talent in her own light--she was Marc Jacobs' right-hand and the designer behind many of Louis Vuitton's fine jewelry collections and collaborations--said she wanted to revert back to the Dior house codes, to utilize pearls for their timelessness but add a dose of modern appeal. She channeled the archival roots of the Dior DNA in designing this delicious collection of necklaces and bracelets called Diorose. My favorite piece, and perhaps the most statement making, is the "Diorose Large Necklace I." Fashioned from gilded metal, natural resin beads and pink enameled roses, it's fastened with an oval closure with a CD facet done in an Art Deco way that Bag Snob aficionados will recognize as the same clasp used on some of the Dior bag designs. I love the oversized, chunky aesthetic of this necklace; wear it with a simple tanktop or a show-stopping gown--either way, this piece will complement and compliment. The oversized baroque pearls are simply gorgeous, and combined with the metal roses, adds just the right touch of sparkly femininity.

$3,200, available at Dior boutiques

Bottega Veneta Fall 2010 Jewelry Collection

The entire Fall 2010 collection from ready to wear to accessories was inspired by the beetle. The colors, an opalescent green blue that degrades to a bright yet gentle yellow. The jewelry is elegant and refined, yet edgy and surprising. I did not know a beetle could be anything but icky, but after Tomas Maier tames them, they become a beautiful and interesting creature. The beetles are made of enamel. He also has a new technique that is used on gold. Just like the woven leather bags, here gold is woven and made into belted chokers. Super chic and decadent! And the craftsmanship is astounding! They are handmade in Germany. For fine jewelry, there are silver links with pave diamond for their loyal customers who will and always remain classic and timeless.

Jil Sander Soul Rings

Jil-Sander-Soul-Blue.jpgJil-Sander-Soul-Orange.jpgJil-Sander-Soul-Pink.jpg

Heart on your sleeve is one thing; soul on your finger is quite another--and something I highly recommend if it's from Jil Sander. Just in time for Valentine's Day, the fashion house has debuted a new Soul collection of rings available only at the label's online boutique. Crafted in Italy, the finger candy boasts a chunky silver-and-enamel design that's a surefire standout for the minimalist house. It might not have quite the commanding presence of a Graff cocktail ring, but it's also one-tenth the price! Wear it to work with your suit and to cocktails with an LBD. A truly versatile ring, it whispers, doesn't shout, subtle style. The best part? I love that it's available in bright, perky colors like orange, blue, pink and yellow (not to mention black, which is an option for gents).

$540 available exclusively at www.jilsander.com

Tiffany's Holiday Collection Preview

user-pic6

Here are a few of the gorgeous pieces from Tiffany's new holiday collection.
Tiffany_Cocktail_Watch.jpg
The cocktail watch is inspired by the curves and inward stepping of a Venetian mirror frame and features a bezel with 98 round brilliant diamonds and a buckle with 23 diamonds in 18 karat white gold with a sleek black satin strap. I love delicate watches with just enough bling like this to make it double as a stunning piece of jewelry and a great timepiece. $12,600 at Tiffany & Co.
Tiffany_Holiday_Key_Collection.jpg
These are the latest additions to the key collection. I love the fairy tale nature of the entire key collection and these delicate and slightly smaller keys would look fantastic with their larger predecessors, or alone. From left is a diamond and black enamel frame key in 18k white gold, a diamond and blue enamel checkerboard key in 18k white gold and a diamond and blue and green enamel octagon key in 18k white gold. $2,250 each.
Tiffany_Victorian_Cuff_Bracelet.jpg
And finally, perhaps the piece de resistance, is this Victorian-inspired Bangle in black enamel with diamonds set in platinum. Available at Tiffany & Co. for $90,000.
Now who doesn't want a little blue box during the holidays?
