Vanessa Hudgens was a serious staple at New York Fashion Week this season, but of all the outfits that she wore, the one that put the brightest sparkle in my eye was her nude Jenny Packham jumpsuit. First off, it proved that short girls can in fact rock jumpsuits. More importantly, though, there was the embellished collar. Yes, the actress wore beautiful Le Vian earrings and Amrapali and IritDesign bracelets, carried the blinged-out black and diamond Oroton Opera crystals bag (at Oroton for $1,250), and even dipped her fingers lightly in the nail art pool for her front row appearance at Jenny Packham’s Fall 2013 show. But the embellished collar trend had the wow factor here and Vanessa knew it. To showcase the wraparound gold, silver, and gunmetal sequins, she wore her hair in a sophisticated up-do. Looks like this is a trend that has us by the neck and won’t be letting go anytime soon.
