I LOVE Magic Johnson. He was my childhood hero as a basketball player and now as an adult he is my idol for his work in the community and his unwavering integrity. I’ve met him, and he is as genuine and big-hearted as his reputation suggests. I even have a signed Magic ball on my mantel – this love is pretty serious. I’ll support anything he does, especially something as amazingly cool as this, he has partnered up with socially conscious Shocking Goat to create a watch benefiting World AIDS Day. The profits of the $30 red ribbon watch (with extra black and white bands to switch out!) will go to the Magic Johnson Foundation, an organization that raises HIV/AIDS awareness.
