I am shocked this is the same Lily Collins that was in The Blind Side! Not only has she grown up, she has grown up so chicly! Looking lovely in a fishtailed Zac Posen gown at the Paris premiere of Mirror, Mirror, it was her jewels that really caught my attention.
Cartier would not have been my first choice for such a young and lively actress, but Lily just proved me wrong. The rings are perfect for her dramatic dress; I especially love the Panthère de Cartier Lakarta ($29,900) on her! A mélange of 18-karat yellow gold, diamonds, emeralds, and onyx wrap wildly, though not exaggeratedly around the finger. A subtler ring completed the pairing: the Nigeria band of 18-karat yellow gold and diamonds ($12,350), and the Agrafe earrings ($11,000), which showcase even more yellow gold and diamonds, are set off like little rays of light by her pitch-dark dresses.
I believe she has now earned the moniker Snow White – she has succeeded in making the classic Cartier icon feel fresh and modern again.
