After experimenting in sculpting, drawing, and painting, Steven Lagos developed more than an appreciation for fine art. The now-master jeweler started his Lagos line in 1977. Tiny, decadent fish egg-esque beads adorning earrings, bracelets, rings, and necklaces are his signature trademark. The hundreds of steps in handcrafting the “caviar” are evident in the quality and allure they exude. It creates a luxuriant sculpture of texture set in sterling silver with 18-karat gold.
