Kelly and I just returned from Florence, where Luisa via Roma’s amazing Style Lab requested we style three different looks. Susana Bettencourt, a native of the Azores Islands of Portugal, is a master when it comes to traditional lace and knitwear techniques. With beyond-avant-garde designs (like this wild harness vest), Susana is taking her craft to a new level.
Unlike most big necklaces, this dramatic beauty makes a statement without overabundance. Which gave us plenty of room to play – we paired it over a Valentino jumpsuit and Balmain vest, topped with a high-sheen McQueen jacket, but this necklace would look equally stunning with a simple, strapless black dress (although much less exciting).
