Chunky and bold, Salvati's murano glass necklace is the treat of the season. In 1859, Antonio Salviati, a lawyer, in love with the mythical lagoon city, decided to revitalize the Venetian glass industry that was eclipsed by both English and Bohemian glass. Employing the best Murano glass makers and technicians, SALVIATI glass jewels are works of art you can show off outside your home! $550 at Salviati.com

Ayazakura Spiritual Jewelry: A Rare Find

A few weeks ago I had the honor of escorting one of my dear friends, Kate Hall, to an event entitled "Girl's Night Out". Now Kate is not only absolutely fabu, (as my mother would say) but she also is an intern at Stanly Korshak, Pink Memo, and D Magazine. So when she asked me if I would be so kind as to be her date to an event with an open bar, I of course said yes. Normally, Kate and I go to parties for the Fashionistas or to fantastic cocktail parties at LFT together so I was really excited and dressed to impress. Boy was I out of luck. This was honestly one of the most bizzare experiences of my life (which is saying a lot since I'm from Alabama). The event was held in a warehouse on the fairgrounds and there were women from out of the wood-work there guzzling down cheap liquor. Kate and I could hardly keep our jaws from dropping. We sucked it up and decided to at least get our free gift bag and a drink while we toured the cheap collection of fake handbags and sparkle mess. Suddenly, as we were about to leave, we caught glimpse of these beautiful pieces of jewelry from Ayazakura spiritual jewelry. The gold was so intricately wrapped around each exotic stone. Some pieces were very delicate with huge stones and others were interwoven with fantastic brightly colored stones and very modern. This booth was a rare find for me that night and well worth the experience. Ayazakura spiritual jewerly, prices range from $25 to $200.

Hermes Enamel Bangles

user-pic6

106102fp01.jpg107203FP06.jpg

I love stacking the iconic Hermes enamel bangles in different sizes on one arm. It jingles and jangles throughout the day and looks so incredibly stylish! I used to use them as distractions for my son when he was a baby, if he started fussing, I'd just lift my arm and he'd be mesmerized! My best girlfriends and I buy these for each other for birthdays, I mean what else do you get girls who literally have everything? But not matter how large your collection, you can always use another Hermes enamel bangle! It's fun to wear a large one with two smaller ones on either side (or I mix it with my diamond bangles), and don't be afraid to clash the colors and metals! Gold and silver mixed together is tres chic, I hate nothing more than matchy matchy, it's so incredibly boring! Bangles are also meant to be worn at least 2 at a time for good luck (did you know this?) So grab at least two to start your own fabulous collection! $395 - $480 at Hermes.com or your local Hermes boutique (they have a wider variety than the website!).

Laura Munder Pearl and Diamond Cage Earrings

How absolutely divine to wrap a diamond cage around a pair of black tahitian pearls! Laura Munder has never interested me before, her pieces are too obvious and boring for my taste but this pair of earrings are seriously major! A friend once told me a woman should always buy her own pearls or they should be from a mother or grandmother. Never from a man, as they represent tears. I don't know if I believe that but it's a good excuse to run out and grab this for yourself don't you think? $26,625 At Bergdorf Goodman 800-558-1855
